Monitors stove performance from 40-480℃
Identifies standard optimum burn temperature 135-300 ℃ for efficient stove use.
( Optimun burn range may vary depending on stove --please consult the stove operating manual.)

Warns of potential for creostoe and soot build-up when the stoves is burning too cold -up to 135 ℃ --increase air flow and or add fuel.
Warn of potential stove overheating inefficiency and risks of chimney damage - over 300 ℃ --reduce air flow

Installation
Install thermometer on vertical face of flue pipe on more than 6" (150mm) above the top of surface of the stove .
The thermometer should also be attached onto the flue pipe using the wire enclosed which is passed through the 2 holes in the face of the thermometer.
